Donnie Leuer

Coach Donnie is a passionate wrestling coach with a deep-rooted commitment to the sport. His journey in wrestling began as a Junior Folkstyle All American, a testament to his dedication and prowess on the mat. Donnie further solidified his connection to the sport by wrestling at the Division 2 level, honing his skills and gaining invaluable experience.

As a coach, Donnie brings his love for wrestling and an unwavering desire to give back to the sport that played a pivotal role in his life. He has proudly served as an assistant coach of the Maple Grove Youth Wrestling program for the past two years, where he imparts his knowledge, expertise, and enthusiasm to the next generation of wrestlers.

Donnie's coaching philosophy is simple yet profound: "Do the little things right, and the big things fall into place." He believes that the foundation of success in wrestling, and in life, lies in mastering the fundamentals, paying attention to detail, and maintaining unwavering discipline. Through his coaching, Donnie instills these values in his athletes, nurturing not only their wrestling skills but also their character and resilience.

Dan Williams

Coach Dan brings a lifetime of wrestling experience and over 8 years of high school coaching success to our youth program. His coaching philosophy focuses on building a strong foundation of skills through structured training, while also making the sport fun and emphasizing long-term growth, confidence, and discipline.

Coach Dan is also a proud wrestling dad—his two young boys are part of the program, and he’s passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where all kids can learn, compete, and grow both on and off the mat.
