Wrestlers we are starting a pre-season youth beginner clinic next Tuesday and would love your help with running practices.  We currently have 41 wrestlers registered - with 3 years of wrestling or less - so any help we can get will be great.  Practices are from 6p - 7p on the following dates:

Tuesday, Oct. 12th

Wednesday, Oct. 13th

Monday, Oct. 18th - TBD may be Tuesday, Oct. 19th

Thursday, Oct. 21st

Tuesday, Oct. 26th

Thursday, Oct. 28th

Monday, Nov. 1st

Thursday, Nov. 4th - This is the end of program tournament and we will need at least four high school refs plus score keepers, coaches, etc.  Please let me know if you can help.

Also on Thursday, Oct. 21st, Tuesday, Oct. 26th, Thursday, Oct. 28th Coach Mike Peterson is offering to run some open mat sessions if we have interested wrestlers who want to get a little extra mat time prior to the season.  These sessions will be following the youth practices from 7p - 8p.  Let me (or Mike) know if you are able to attend as we want to make sure we will have wrestlers in attendance if Mike is going to commit his night to this purpose.

These open mats would also be a great opportunity to get a tune up in prior to the first ever North Star Tournament held at Anoka High School on November 6th and 7th. This is a great pre-season tournament opportunity for wrestlers thru High School. This tournament will be run by MN/USA Wrestling.
